The African Grey Parrot has become a cherished pet in Europe since the reign of Henry VIII through the sixteenth century, And perhaps even before than this time. This genus has three subspecies, just one now regarded as extinct.  One other two are well-known and available within the United states of america.  The more compact sub species P. e.
